ANNOUNCEMENT OF 20/20 NEW PLAY COMMISSIONS
InterAct celebrates its continuing tradition of developing and cultivating new work with the announcement of the creation of the 20/20 Commissions, an ambitious initiative in which InterAct will award 20 new play commissions over the next six seasons. The recipients of the first round of 20/20 Commissions will be announced at the February 11 gala event. InterAct seeks to use the commissions to explore the issues our society will face over the next 20 years, through the eyes of the playwright. InterAct plans to award roughly 2-5 commissions per season over the next six seasons, for a total of 20 commissions.
