Seth Rozin, Producing Artistic Director, co-founded InterAct in 1988, and has since directed over 50 productions, including THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY (Best Director, Philadelphia Weekly in 2010), LEBENSRAUM (1999 Barrymore Awards for Outstanding Direction, Outstanding Overall Production and Outstanding Ensemble), IT’S ALL TRUE (2001 Barrymore nominations for Outstanding Director and Outstanding Overall Production) and PERMANENT COLLECTION (2004 Barrymore nomination for Outstanding Overall Production). He has twice been named "Best Director" by the Philadelphia Inquirer for the world premiere of 6221 in 1993 and for LEBENSRAUM. Other favorite productions with InterAct include A HOUSE WITH NO WALLS, KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, BLUE/ORANGE, NIXON'S NIXON, LONELY PLANET, and GOD'S COUNTRY. Seth has also directed for the Fountain Theatre in Los Angeles, Blue Heron Theatre and the 45th Street Theatre in New York, as well as regionally with Act II Playhouse, Venture Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Philadelphia Young Playwrights Festival and the University of Pennsylvania. As a playwright, Seth is the award-winning author of six plays, including MEN OF STONE, MISSING LINK, REINVENTING EDEN, BLACK GOLD and TWO JEWS WALK INTO A WAR…, as well as the musical comedy A PASSING WIND, featured in the 2011 Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. He is the recipient of two fellowships from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and his first two produced plays - MEN OF STONE and MISSING LINK - garnered Barrymore Award nominations for Outstanding New Play in 2001 and 2002, respectively. Seth has served on funding and/or award panels for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Philadelphia Theatre Initiative, Philadelphia Cultural Fund, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Theatre Communications Group and the F. Otto Haas Award for an Emerging Philadelphia Theatre Artist. He has served on the Boards of the National New Play Network, Women's Theatre Festival, Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, New Paradise Laboratories and Fresh Visions Youth Theatre.
Anneliese Van Arsdale, Managing Director, originally hails from Bloomington, Indiana, but has been living and working in Philadelphia since August 2005. Anneliese joined the staff of InterAct in November 2011 as Managing Director. Prior to her current role, she served as Development Manager for the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival & Philly Fringe for nearly five years. She has also worked with Philadelphia-based theater companies such as Theatre Exile, The Arden Theatre Company and The Berserker Residents as an Event Consultant, Teaching Artist and House Manager. Anneliese moved to Philadelphia for the Arden Theatre Company’s Professional Apprentice program, a comprehensive training program in nonprofit regional theatre management in which apprentices work in every aspect of operations. Anneliese holds a BA in Dance and Drama from Kenyon College in Ohio

David Golston, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, began working with InterAct in September 2005. Prior to joining InterAct, he worked for 6 years as Director of Marketing for Unicorn Theatre, a professional theatre company in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant for several up-and-coming arts organizations in the Kansas City area. While attending the University of Missouri - Kansas City, where he completed a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, he also completed internships for the New York-based public relations firm KJPR Publicity, Promotions and Artist Relations and Cornerstone Foundation, a Kansas City-based non-profit organization. From 2003-2008, David also served as General Manager for the National New Play Network, an organization of theatres nationwide that is dedicated to the development and continued life of new plays.
Daniel X. Guy, Audience Services & Company Manager, hails from Massachusetts and started with InterAct as a production intern for the 2009/2010 season. As an intern he assistant stage managed the Barrymore-nominated production of Lee Blessing’s WHEN WE GO UPON THE SEA, which was moved Off-Broadway to 59E59 Theatre. Daniel graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2008 with a degree in Theatre (Directing and Performance) with a minor in Dance Choreography. In his senior year at Muhlenberg, Daniel was given the honor to direct ZANNA DON'T! for the Main Stage Season. Philadelphia credits include Tribe of Fools' critically-acclaimed HEAVY METAL DANCE FAG (Production Manager), DRACULA (Stage Manager), Enchantment Theater Company’s THE VELVETEEN RABBIT national tour and rehearsal A.S.M., and A.D. for HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON national tour.
Dwight Wilkins, Director of Education, is a playwright, director, filmmaker and teaching artist. He came on board as InterAct’s Education Director in the summer of 2006. Before coming to InterAct, Dwight worked at Freedom Theatre as a Dramaturg and Production Associate. He also taught Drama for one year at a charter school in Philadelphia. In addition to his work at InterAct, Dwight works as a Teaching Artist for Philadelphia Young Playwrights and the Big Picture Alliance. He holds masters degrees in Theatre and Film.
Kittson O'Neill, Artistic Associate, is delighted to join the InterAct team after having previously served as Literary Manager for the New Jersey Repertory Company and as an Associate Artist for Relentless Theater Company in New York. She has been a dramaturg and evaluator for a number of organizations including PlayPenn, the Pennsylvannia Council for the Arts and the McKnight Foundation. As an actor she has worked on dozens of stages, including InterAct’s, and in a handful of films and television shows. She was briefly a staff writer for The Onion and stage crew for The Rolling Stones.
is a graduate of The University of the Arts. He has been professionally involved with several theatre companies, both locally and internationally. Credits include InterAct, Pig Iron Theatre, Gas and Electric Arts, Living Arts Theatre, Gravity Works Theatre, Contemporary Stage Company and The Delaware Theatre Co. He also is co-artistic director of insperado, an initiative-based theatre company dedicated to producing multi-media, multi-medium works that push the audience to experience theatre in new and exciting ways.
Peter Whinnery, Lighting Designer, has served as InterAct's designer in residence since 1989 and has designed the
lighting and/or sets for over 35 productions including LEBENSRAUM, IT'S ALL TRUE, BLUE/ORANGE, PERMANENT
COLLECTION, NIXON'S NIXON, SINCE AFRICA, THE FEAST OF THE FLYING COW, DRINK ME, AUNT DAN AND
LEMON, BLACK RUSSIAN, LONELY PLANET, MOROCCO, GOD'S COUNTRY, 6221, HOUSE WITH
NO WALLS and most recently SKIN IN FLAMES. Peter has also designed for The Wilma Theater, Act II Playhouse, Painted Bride Art Center, Venture Theater,
PlayWorks, Bryn Mawr College and the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches theatrical design for the Theatre
Arts Program and serves as the Technical Advisor to Student Performing Arts.
, is a Detroit native who recently graduated from Kalamazoo College, a small liberal arts college in Michigan, with BA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Economics. During her time at “K College” she dabbled in everything from directing to acting to lighting design. She co-directed the premiere production of ALISON SHIELDS, which was selected as a participating production at the American College Theatre Festival - Region III and was also the assistant director for THE WHO’S TOMMY. She has appeared in productions of THE RETURN TO THE FORBIDDEN PLANET, THE TEMPEST, THE WHO’S TOMMY and BABY WITH THE BATHWATER. Becky has also stage managed various shows at both Kalamazoo College and at the Finborough Theatre in London; her favorites being THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN and ANGELS IN AMERICA: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES.
, recently moved to Philadelphia to pursue work as a director, teaching artist and performer. She spent the past two years on the road with The Enchantment Theatre Company (THE ADVENTURES OF HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON - National Tour 09-11). Shannon is a Muhlenberg '09 graduate with degress in both Theatre and Music. She has also trained at the Accacdemia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy for commedia dell'arte and physical theatre. Since officially living in Philly, Shannon has worked with the Azuka Theatre Company (THE TERRIBLE GIRLS) and with Tribe of Fools, Co-Directing their Philly Fringe production of HEAVY METAL DANCE FAG. Shannon has also worked as a teaching artist for Raven's Run Visual and Performing Arts Camp, The Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, NY, and will continue her work with Enchantment as a teaching artist this season in several Philadelphia school residencies.
, recently graduated from Lycoming College with a BA in Theatre with a focus in Directing. During her time at Lycoming College she directed KEEPING TOM NICE and BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME, she also stage managed THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, and assistant stage managed THE ANTIGONE OF SOPHOCLES and THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL. While at Lycoming Brianne also performed in WONDER OF THE WORLD, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, ANGELS IN AMERICA and PENGUIN BLUES. She also served as President of the Omega Chi chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, Lycoming College’s chapter of the National Theatre Honor Society.
, is currently a senior at The University of the Arts studying for her BFA in Theater Design, specifically sound design. She has worked on over 10 school productions and assisted professional designers on shows such as NINE and the 2010 Philadelphia Fringe Festival's production of POLAROID STORIES at UArts. Lindsay has designed shows such as THE UMBRELLA PLAYS and the musical A LYRICAL OPERA MADE BY TWO, and this fall she will be designing LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES.
, has written numerous plays, including eight that have made their World Premiere at InterAct: SILVERHILL, A HOUSE WITH NO WALLS, PERMANENT COLLECTION, BEE-LUTHER-HATCHEE, BLACK RUSSIAN, AXIS SALLY, PRETENDING TO AMERICA and 6221. Other plays include
THE EXHIBITION and HOMER. His plays have also been seen at the National Playwrights

He is the recipient of seven playwriting fellowships from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, two Barrymore Awards for Outstanding New Play, a Pew Fellowship in the Arts, the NAACP Theatre Award, the Roger L. Stevens Award from The Fund for New American Plays, and the Barrie and Bernice Stavis Playwriting Award.
