InterAct offers up to three part-time summer internships to qualified college students, graduate students, and young professionals, providing dynamic, first-hand training on the workings of a small professional theatre. Interns will be asked to work 16 hours per week for 8-12 weeks, between June 3 - August 30, 2019.

The Administrative Internship is a fast-paced, comprehensive internship that involves the intern in every department of a non-profit professional theatre. InterAct seeks up to two (2) Administrative Interns for Summer 2019.
Act as an interdepartmental assistant, working with InterAct’s staff on day-to-day tasks including marketing and group sales research, filing, mailings, audience development and fundraising research, and facilities management
Serve as one of the public faces of the theatre with phone coverage, box office and subscription management, and customer service
Successful candidates will demonstrate interest in theatre management and be personable, communicative, detail-oriented, and flexible.

The Literary Internship offers first-hand experience in the rigors of literary management at a small professional theatre company. InterAct seeks one (1) Literary Intern for Summer 2019.
Reading and evaluating general script submissions and scripts for upcoming seasons
Compiling dramaturgical research for the 2019-20 Season
Assist with other administrative needs in Artistic and Literary Departments
Successful candidates must have excellent writing and research skills, be thoughtful and considerate readers, possess a keen attention to detail, and be personable.
Some hours will be dedicated to reading scripts and can be done remotely. However, the Literary Intern must be able to work in InterAct’s offices at least 8 hours per week.
