Literary & External Relations Manager
Erin Washburn is a dramaturg and producer with a passion for new plays. She first came to InterAct as a Literary Intern in 2012, and graduated to her current position after completing the 2013/14 Season Apprenticeship. In addition to her work with InterAct, Erin is the Producing Associate for Orbiter 3, Philadelphia's first producing playwrights' collective. Recent projects include THE BROWNINGS (Orbiter 3), DESTINY ESTIMATE (MJ Kaufman & the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage), HIR (Simpatico Theatre) and MARCUS/EMMA (InterAct). She has also worked with Azuka Theatre, The Renegade Company, Shakespeare in Clark Park, the University of the Arts, Theatre Exile, PlayPenn, the Wilma Theater, and Studio Theatre in Washington, DC. Currently Erin is coordinating Cross-Pollination, a three-way local playwright trade between InterAct, Cleveland Public Theatre in Cleveland, OH and Kitchen Dog Theater in Dallas, TX funded by the National New Play Network. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College.
