Onstage October 21 - November 20
Meet Anya and Izak, a young couple struggling to survive in their
bombed-out apartment in a war-ravaged region of the world. Their aunt
lies dead in the next room. They have one beet left to eat between
them. And they have let their beloved dog run away out of fear that
their neighbors will eat him. Into this extreme devastation comes
Audrey, a Western relief worker and wife of The Ambassador, who
cheerfully announces that Anya and Izak have been randomly selected to
be their country's "poster children," and that they will receive an
extravagant feast and worldwide publicity.whether they want it or not!
This dark absurdist comedy features Matt Saunders.
