Set against the growing divide between the biotechnology revolution and the "culture of life," Reinventing Eden follows an eminent scientist who must answer both to the government and his own family for allegedly conducting unauthorized genetic experiments in the past. The play raises complex and controversial questions about our innately human desire to give our children a better future, ultimately asking "should anything stop us from creating perfect babies?"
