InterAct’s aim is to educate and entertain its audiences by producing world-class, thought-provoking productions. We use theatre as a tool to foster positive social change in the school, the workplace, and the community.
Founded by Producing Artistic Director Seth Rozin in 1988 to promote cross-cultural exchange, InterAct Theatre Company has established a national reputation as a leading producer of new American theater.
InterAct has raised $2.5M as part of a multi-year capital effort to create Philadelphia's New Home for New Plays. This new two-theatre performance venue at The Drake is now home to InterAct, along with four Resident Partners: PlayPenn, Azuka Theatre, Simpatico Theatre Project, and Inis Nua Theatre Company.
