Mike Donohoe joins InterAct Theatre Company in its 31st season, as its new Marketing Director. Mike is a seasoned communications professional, with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit and corporate communications, along with arts administration. Throughout his career, Mike has worked in grant-funded and foundation-supported roles for nonprofit arts organizations and theatres, and as a consultant with Philadelphia-based, nationally renowned Jacobson Strategic Communications.
His background in marketing, media relations, publicity, organizational development, and as a writer, have garnered partnerships with brands such as State Farm®, Melissa and Doug®, and Keurig®. Mike has worked on publicity campaigns for national book launches, and for the NHL’s Florida Panthers, among others, garnering media placements in the New York Times, Time magazine, Huffington Post, USA Today, and other local, regional, and national media outlets.
Over the years, Mike has served on several marketing and outreach committees for the Arden Theatre Company, Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia (now Theatre Philadelphia), The Clay Studio, Opera Philadelphia, and Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP). He regularly serves as a reviewer on grant panels through the Pa Council on the Arts (PCA), administered by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance.
Mike is thrilled to continue working alongside his colleagues, peers, and friends in the Philadelphia arts and theatre communities, where he has always felt most at home.
