Tom Helmer returns for his seventh season, looking forward to breaking in a somewhat larger stage manager’s booth at the Drake. Most recently, during the Drake renovations, Tom had the opportunity to stage manage DISGRACED at Philadelphia Theatre Company. His over 75 productions as an AEA stage manager include work with Weston Playhouse Theatre Company (VT), Delaware Theatre Company, Oldcastle Theatre Company (VT) and Actors Shakespeare Project (Boston). His long-ago acting credits include John Adams, “1776”, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Louis Howe/Bert Healy, "ANNIE", Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia, Howie Newsome/Sam Craig, "OUR TOWN" and Bob Cratchit, "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" at Delaware Theatre Company. Tom is a former National Councillor of Actors’ Equity and is presently Liaison Chair of the Philadelphia AEA Liaison Committee.
